Sceptre 47” led screen problem

Hello and thanks in advance. I have sceptre led e475bv. The screen started having a very noticeable green tint to it. This went on for several viewings. It just did it again except when I turned off and back on the screen came up with lines all over the place. Every now and then I can read something, but not often. This is in all inputs.

Is there anything I can check or do to fix the issue?

I have folllowed the advice from the forum and troubleshooted some TVs before. I'm hoping I can do the same with this one.

I would re-seat the cables between T-CON and the main board to see what happen.

Thanks! However, reseating the connectors didn't seem to help. Is there anything else I can try or test?

Can we see the screen shot to see what the picture looks like on the screen?
History of this TV before it went out?
We also need the pictures of the whole backside of the TV showing all the boards.

For several weeks the tv had really green tint to picture. Then one day after start up it went from really green tint to lines all over the screen. Every now and then you could make out an image. Now it looks like this:

Disconnect one of the tcon ribbons going to the panel and power up. Do you have half a picture. Then replace the ribbon and repeat for the second ribbon.

Ok. I took the cable off of what i believe is tcon board. The first gray picture is with one ribbon disconnected. The second (more green) picture is with both rbbons disconnected.

So you have cable 1 connected cable 2 disconnected only and you get no image on half of the screen, so what do you get when cable 1 disconnected and cable 2 connected?

I get no image on half the screen and vertical lines on the other half regardless of which ribbon I disconnect.

Need to do Voltage testing at various test points of the T-CON board next, we will need good clear straight shot and well focused of the whole top side of the T-CON board to be able to see the test points.

Ok. And to give you a little more info. If I disconnect cable one and connect cable two: the screen has no vertical lines on either side, but the screen is two different colors divide directly down the middle. If I connect one and disconnect two. The screen has vertical lines on left side and blank screen on the right. The screen is always blank on the right no matter what is connected.

Test in Volt the TP: Vin, Vdd, Hvdd, Vgh, Vgl, Vcore, Vcc18.

Thanks. Let me make sure I am understanding correctly. I should power on the tv. Put the black probe on the chasis and red on each of those points you have listed on the tcon board? Is this correct?

Forgive me for being stupid but I don’t see thes points on the tcon. I have “vcom vcomr-fb vst vgh even, vghf, gckl6, gclk4 gclk2 and z out. Am I looking at the wrong thing?

Look for stuff with V in front, I see VGL, VGH, VCC18, ect. using shopjimmy's pictures.

Sorry but you're not stupid but blind, if u carefully watch at the board as i have done in few minutes you'll see, nobody chase you.

Ok you are right. I am both blind and stupid. I was only looking up around where the ribbons connect. Sorry! But here is what I got

Hvdd- 8.1
Vin- 11.8
Vcc18 - 1.6
Vdd- 16.3
Vgl- 4.8
V core - 1.6
Vgh - 27.9 (I am not sure I put the probe in the correct spot for this one. As there was no spot to check very near the writing. I chose the closest point.)
