    Component ID and Replacement

Hi all, looking for some help on replacing a part on a TV board. Part looks to be a Polypropylene Cap although I'm unsure. I have attached a picture of the damaged part for reference if anyone could help me source a replacement part it would be much appreciated.
Also what would cause this type of failure other than possible handling damage?

Markings indicate 2.2uF 250v - but struggling to find one online.

    Thanks in Advance

Thanks for the quick reply, I had checked RS but was looking for one that looked the same to the one fitted to the board, would the ones you have linked do the job? I'm unsure of the space between the pins I will need to measure this later on this evening.

check pin spacing - it's gonna be the decider.

as for looks, cheap crap is dipped - like yours.
better ones are potted in plastic boxes for extra safety.

Hi stj, does this part look like a Polypropylene or a Polyester? Pin spacing is 10mm measured.

          Thanks in advance.

you cant tell if it's polyester, polypropylene or polystyrene by looks - they are just different plastics.
you have to look at the markings or what it does.
            (or find a schematic)
            what is the tv board?

Here is the Panasonic part number: F0C2E225A286, The Panasonic schematics are poor quality you can't make out the values.
TC-P50u50 chassis gpf15du has the same caps
Seem to be CBB21 Metallized polypropylene film capacitor. (CBB21 is a material type, defined by factory)
