Strange bootloop - Funai LED TV 29FL553/10N

Hi, I got Funai LED TV 29FL553/10N

It turns on, draw 27.5W from wall outlet and reset again.
What could it be? Caps in power supply are visible good - two biggest I measured ESR and capacity and it's ok.

Could it be EEPROM failure? Maybe someone had similar problem?

Do you get a logo and do you see it freeze before it reboots?
A freeze and an auto-reboot is likely an OS panic due to corruption, especially Android.

If it just seems to keep turning off and coming back on, reflow the PSU solder joints, including the primary...

I see logo for a couple seconds - I uploaded YouTube video how it looks.

I dont know if it is android - I dont think it is even smart TV.

After logo turns off it stay black with backlight for few seconds - so I dont think it freezes

It look like you have a blown mosfet and possible ceramic capacitor.

I've had similar, TV showed boot logo then restarted, and showed logo and restarted and repeat..
Was the eeprom at fault. Flashed and all was well.

My Samsung Galaxy S5 one year ago did that, IIRC, it suddenly developed a random reboot problem, including when playing music and then it randomly would fail to boot completely. Randomly, it would freeze at the Samsung logo and I was like, WTF!

The only fix was an Android factory reset and possibly was a poorly contacting mini SD card as well. :/

The problem with that, was this, not even a kernel panic error message! Apparently, because they (Google) wanted to copy Microsoft's NT family, where it just reboots instead of showing an error screen.
The auto-reboot feature was introduced in Windows 2000, if not Windows NT 4.0 or NT 3x...

Re: Strange bootloop - Funai LED TV 29FL553/10N

Reflash helped for a while - now I turned on the TV and the same bootloop. I think that the chip is broken itself and it lost data again, what do You think?

I will try if the new chip will help - maybe something drifferent causes erasing the chip?

The chips do fail. Just flash the dump you have to a new chip.

It's working! New FLASH chip helped!
Thanks a lot for sugestions! Especially diif

Below I uploaded FLASH Dump for this TV (thanks to zdzifu from elektroda.pl forum):

Well done. I've added your EEPROM dump to the EEPROM thread.
