I dont know what specifically they are cuz no write on board but i chose the closest one.

sry but u mean problem is qz4 gate or qz3 ? cuz the qz3 gate is 3v, so ..

Re: Dell Vostro 3560 no power :'(

qz3 i mean. gate should be higher as it should be 19 volt (if im right)

try remove qz3 and measure voltages of qz3 pin 1-2-3, 4, 5-6-7-8 and report back

a better picture woulb be better to follow trace of component. that 390k resistor is the one supposed to be 0 omh or the 1.5m omh ? we should be able to see better that component. i can see 2 0805 capacitor, one 0805 and 0603 capacitor, but i see only 2 0402 resistor... (the one in the middle has 2 point connected ? if so that is the 0omh and where u have 390k u should have 1.5m, if so... remove and measure it.

Here it is >> https://www.dropbox.com/s/v93rjcihuau5v5m/Mobo.rar << HQ photos Front & Back side of mobo

that 390k resistor is the one supposed to be 0 omh or the 1.5m omh ?
          where u have 390k u should have 1.5m

          >> i dont know that just what i got

the one in the middle has 2 point connected ? if so that is the 0omh

          >> yes thats right they r just points with 0 ohm

          measuring in process ...

Re: Dell Vostro 3560 no power :'(

So QZ3 it self is good (tested out board by method 6 measures and only one read >> cuz i just was know it before )

            so on board pins 1-2-3 S = 0v, 4 G = 2.65v & 5-6-7-8 D = 3.15v

about resistor out board = .275M ohm ( i think its not this one should = 1.5M )

              replace with 1.5m resistor...

I think the gate QZ4 seem weird too, Why only 1.3V. its should be 5V, Right?
@AGmR you can compare with QZ9 (if its working properly as well)

After PCH_PWR_EN signal be HIGH (3V), QZ10 generate signal PCH_PWR_EN# from RZ12 (I think should be 5V of course its only signal after the resistor). Consider to check QZ10.

And the gate QZ3 maybe around 15V, RZ7 and RZ9 act as voltage divider.

oh im sry i removed the 470k one on right though it was 1.5M and now i desoldered the another one on left

and measured it yes its around 1.5M, my bad sry

                    oh yes thats right QZ9 G= 5v

                    >> QZ10 D=1.3v & G= 2.3v

good explain about G QZ3 VD i got the point now

Re: Dell Vostro 3560 no power :'(

the # on pch power enable means it has to be 0 volt when present.

so qz7 qz9 should be the same as qz3 qz4. chech and report any difference in voltages between them.

remove qz3 and report voltages pin.

This tests when QZ3 out board now

                        QZ7 : (D 3.15v) (G 0v) (S 0v)

                        QZ9 : (D 0v) (G 5v) (S 0v)

                        QZ4 : (D 2.66v) (G 1.3) (S 0v)

                        QZ3 removed, voltages pins : (D 3v) (G 2.66v) (S 0v)

                        ..................

                        QZ3 (on board) : (D 3.15v) (G 3v) (S 1.6v)

You're correct, so I've give wrong explanation about that.

So, that's mean the correct voltage/signal must be 0V on gate QZ4. after that B+_bias not pulling to ground. Thanks to correct my statement.

You don't develop problems in circuit with an incorrect flash (that I have ever run into). You just end up with a bricked board that won't power on or not post.

Where are you getting the bios dump that you're flashing to the chip??
ytes you can create power issues with wrong bios , since SIO can work in a mather that it shouldn't.

first things to chek are !!!!
chek if 19 volts arrive well to all part of the motherboard , specially to charger circuit , to main regulator and vcore . after that chek carefully if 3 and 5 valwa are present in case they are S5 , if so chek carefully for mosfet that cross 3 and 5 valw to 3 and 5 VS specially if does tensions are low than it should its more than enough for the computer to not wor well .
finally wich is the SIO you got on the mtherboard ???
finally replace ROM chip with a new one , and give me EXACT board code and revision and i get you a correct and working bios .

Thank u but i cant do anything with this common test just be more specific like what pin or component to test from schematic i attached to main post im noob u know

                                >> about ROM chip already programmed with correct and working bios so i dont need new one :-)
