HP spectre x360 possible missing components near bios chip

Hi guys anybody has hires picture of this model surrounding bios chip ?
    HP spectre x360 i7 8550u not gem cut I guess 2018 or 2019 model

    Thanks

While waiting, consider to remove all power -> meter in resistance mode.

Check the resistance from each pad of concern and trace it to the BIOS chip pins.

Create a small schematic / block diagram of which pins mate with which pad.

Then download the datasheet for the bios chip and compare notes on the function of the IC. The missing parts could be just current limit resistors or perhaps despiking caps, etc.

The BIOS chip is a digital memory device so very little external parts are required for its operation.

Post the details if you proceed.

Ok. Are the pads with the missing parts - shorted to each other ? Sometimes, PCB designers will apply pads but not use them and they just short them across the pads.

Confirm this. If not, these are just current limit resistors.

You can apply 0 ohm (ie. solder blobs) or a low resistance value to stop signal ringing - we like to use 33 ohms in our designs.

Nothing critical here. The parts look to be 0402 sized pads so you can find donor parts from other boards.

Values that can work here are 0 ohms..1k should be fine. Lower is better.
