Is it possible that I upgrade my CPU on Toshiba A300 laptop,
from T9400 to T9600 ？

If the T9400 is running ok i don`t think you`ll see much improvement from an extra 300Mhz

in linux I can only see 1 core of my T9400, is it possible that half of my CPU dead ?
or something else ?

T9600 should work fine but as SMDFlea said don't expect large improvement.

If you have a missing core it's most likely related to BIOS, try to reset CMOS, update BIOS and check the settings. Also try with another LiveUSB if ever it's an issue with the OS.
