there's no code on the mainboard ? what are you going to use the code for ? not quite sure really of what ya asking ? i have a simple question does Amd board require dump file of the file at hp site is the full dump file ? is it like intel bios need dump ? or you can flash the bin file from hp ?

mainboard code is the code on the mainboard which is written with the biggest font. for example it can look like this: 6050a2356601-mb-a02

it depends on model to model. Mos of the time hp site has only update file which somestimes need to be decrypted and then edited with hex editor to make it the required size. But certainly , you can make full dump from Hp site though that requirea little bit of knowledge.

As far as your probook case is concerned-the hp site has full bios-nothing needs to be done, its already full bios.
