LCD monitor by Diamond View, a Mitsubishi, Model: DV153

    Hello,

This LCD monitor is a Diamond View by Mitsubishi, Model: DV153, dispayed a blinking green light at power up.

Found 4 caps bulging, some in the inverter section:

    1. C725 ( 470uF @ 25V )
    2. C75 ( 470uF @ 25V ) <-- This cap is next to L701 and could be C751.
    3. C703 ( 1000uF @ 35V), and
    4. C707 ( 1000uF @ 16V).

Should I be looking for other effected components, as well.

Need schematics, equivalent model number(s) and chassis number for this model.

Both power supply and control boards are made by BENQ.

    Please, email schematics to erepairs@rediffmail.com

    Sincerely

    Hello,

Mitsubishi LCD Monitor, Model: DV153 - Fixed. The problem was the four above mentioned caps, that is,

    1. C725 ( 470uF @ 25V )
    2. C75 ( 470uF @ 25V ) <-- This cap is next to L701 and could be C751.
    3. C703 ( 1000uF @ 35V), and
    4. C707 ( 1000uF @ 16V).

Originally, I thought, they were the effect but after extensive non power testing on individual components proved negative, the monitor was fire up and worked fine.

The puzzle is which cap(s) was responsible for the other caps failing.

    Sincerely

poor quality caps themselves caused the failure.

really cant complain getting a free lcd out of it!a neighbor set it on the curb!
