    Is RT8223M compatible with RT8223P?

I'm working on a 11078-SA and my 3V and 5V are not being generated by U31, I also notice my low side mosfets (Q59 and Q60) drains go short when I plug in the adapter.

I replaced RT8223M with RT8223P and replaced low side mosfets Si4172DY with APM4826K.

On diode mode unplugged: 0.428 and 0.465 on 3D3V_PWR and 5V_PWR, but go short when I plug in the adapter, the shorts are gone once I remove the low side mosfets or wait a few minutes until the mosfets close.

Is RT8223M compatible with RT8223P? If they are, I can look for the problem elsewhere.

RT8223M compatible with RT8223P? They seem ok to me.

Measure the exact resistance to ground, not in diode mode

6.7K ohms (and rising) for 3D3V_PWR and 50K ohms (and rising) for 5V_PWR.

Both rails go short when I plug in the adapter.

So it can't be RT8223P because I tried 3 in new packaging.

Applying 2V to 3D3V_PWR, it's drawing about 0.50A and PCH heats up a bit, this one can't be saved right?

U31 stb chip Do you have 8 pin 3.3v LDO and 17 pin 5v LDO voltages. Is there 13 pin 3D3V_PWR activation (Enable). It is not normal that the PCH chip draws 0,50mA when it is idle.

did u apply power with low side mosfet removed?
