EDIT: I see now that this is a "flexgate" issue. One of the backlight cables is almost torn. Is the touch bar problem related to the screen?
Hi, sorry I can't find board number (where is it printed?)
This machine will turn on (CPU gets warm, caps lock lights up, touchpad clicks, you can hear charging "chime" when plugged in) but the screen and touchbar remain black. No image and no backlight. The fans also don't turn on, but maybe because CPU isn't hot enough...
It appears it has been dropped on the corners before.
Although it looks like some liquid may have entered the keyboard, I removed the logic board and it is spotless.
I tried USB-C to HDMI and still have no image. I am not sure if the image should automatically show though....
Unfortunately I have no other LCD to try. I do however have an extra lid/backlight and when I connect it the backlight does light up. Still no touch bar and can't confirm display on LCD.
Any tips?
