    New TME mod idea.

    TME=Time Management Execute.
    This is a function on some PLL chips that allows the BIOS to set a hard upper limit to the FSB. A high signal during POST sets the limit to a value that's slected on other pins of the PLL.
    A mod on older computer was to pull down the TME signal with a resistor to ground. Later PLL chips multiplexed a 33MHz output to the PCI bus on the TME pin to defeat this.
    My thinking is if you put a diode to allow the PCI frequency out you should be able to put a parallel resistor on the input to unlock the TME limit. Resistor in,diode out.
    Do you think this would work?
    What specific diode or resistor parts would be needed for this?
    I think I can handle the soldering for this myself.

    who knows, depends on the PLL chip and how exactly it's prohibiting overclock...

      Truste Mode Execute is the another term for this. I've seen it called the other also. Maybe different chip vendors.
