I have a 2005FPW. Fist the screen was flickering and kept getting worse until I figured I had nothing to loose and decided to try and fix it. I ran across this:
Repair a Flickering 20" Dell 2005FPW LCD Monitor (similar to 2007WFP) - YouTube

Upon examination, my c637 and C635 on the video side looked suspect. I replaced the existing Sam Young KGM 16v 470uF 105C 54 b(1) with some Rubycon ZL 25v 470uF 105C T1203 PET replacement capacitors I got off eBay. I think/hope they were the right ones.
Powered up and worked great for about a week. One day I left the room and when I came back the monitor looked like it was trying to power on over and over again. The power button was flashing as well as the #2 input indicator. Nothing was legible on the screen. Even after unplugging the power and the DVI cable, when I repowered the unit it goes straight into the same behavior.
I have a cheapo multi-meter (no capacitor capability). So I can provide some basic information - but I do not know what information to supply.
Upon further examination of the boards, I do not see anything that looks out of place. The capacitors "look" okay as far as I can tell.
From what I have read, C103 and C107 on the power side could be suspect. But before I start randomly replacing things, I would seek some advice.
Attached are some pictures, although the pictures are not mine, they are the same. All I have is a phone camera and the pics were really bad.
Any thoughts?
