toshiba 50l1350u wont turn on

i have a toshiba 50l1350u that wouldnt power on regularly without unplugging it and repetitively trying over and over.. when it powers on its good till it shuts off. i updated the firmware and didnt have a problem with it for a few months.. then it started happening more and more.. i bought the PK101W0100I Power Supply Board Unit to fix this and it is doing the same thing.. all that ive read is the power regulator is shot or one of the fuses is shot but the power board was supposed to replace all that.. unless i bought a bad board im at a loss.. is there anything on the main board that can be doing this? im not a EE and cant replace anything with unsoldering it.. need any advise..

Try reinstalling the firmware. Maybe you have an EEPROM which is losing data over time.

Replace the main board

+1 likely failed flash firmware on the SPI chip. Overtime with power cycles the firmware corrupts. Easier to replace the board than messing.

Yep I saw this ad, unfortunately he doesn't ship to Canada . seems there is no other option for us...

You don't mention the markings on the EPROM but the cheap CH341A programmer has read all for me so far.
Blank EEPROMs are available on ebay or Ali, perhaps the seller will sell you just the dump via email that you could program yourself if you can't find a dump.
You could try using freeze spray to aid in reading the one you have already, there are instances this will work, but no guarantee.

Finding the eeprom dump might be a major task. maybe 14 bucks isn't so bad.
