![]() You would need to specify the type, rating, dimensions, colour (warm/cool/neutral white) etc. Digikey is a good place to start.

![]() I am unsure of how to find the ratings for these. Normally I would just buy some used strips to get the tv working. But I would like to start repairing the strip with replacement leds. They are the common strips that are in the 47 lg 47 vizios I have replaced many of the strips. But I can make alot more.money by repairing them

In my experience, most of the leds are still good... depending on how they fail. On some strips, the leds short, which causes lots of them to short eventually. Most seem to open when they fail, on these strips there are usually one or two bad... and the rest are still good. And turn the backlights down after the repair, also instruct the owner of the set to keep the backlights turned down to get them out of what I call "roman candle " mode. The nicer sets will have separate settings for each input, so you have to go through each inputs setting. If you don't do this, the set will be back...

![]() Here is what I made work.
Digi-key part#1416-1526-1-ND The solder pads underneath the are opposite than the Toshiba/LG cathode has larger heatsink on new ones I replaced so, I turned them according to the pads on pcb and then reversed the polarity at connector end. I could not tell any difference in the picture.Must replace all on that strip or rewire. |
