I note that Microsoft offers this for $259 on their website but there are many Ebay sellers that will provide a key for as little as $30 Canadian. These purport to be MS licensed re-sellers.
Install Win7 Pro, activate (either legit or with DAZ)...then upgrade to 10, activates and updates just fine. Easy free and peasy! Of course I won't do that on a client machine....but all my W10 testbed systems have been done this way.
You can install 10 right over the top of 7, it works just fine....then use 'disk cleanup' to remove the old W7 install...or you can do a clean install of W10 from the W7 license using the'Genuine Ticket' method....it still works, I do it on legit Win7 machines for customers that want to upgrade all the time.
