Hey guys this unit power cycles with no image but backlight does come on and then shut off. Unplugging the cable in the picture makes the backlight stay on but no response other than that from it. I am assuming main board is faulty wanted to double check before I spent money. Thanks!!

Re: Samsung UN55KS800DF
Know error with these sets.
Possible culprits are mainboard (- in combination with the one connect box ) or display.
This set does the same when the FCC cables are disconnected so there is no need to try that. We saw several of these where the mainboard and one connect box were defect, some even have a defect mainboard in combination with the display.

Re: Samsung UN55KS800DF
I have same model. Tried 2 sets of P.S. & Main. Board #s match. Ver. # match. Same symptoms. Why do back light stay on ( no dark areas ) with #20 plug disconnected from main if display can be the problem? Shouldn't set light up w/o one connect attached? Is it excessive draw by back light causing cycling? Thanks.
