    I'm laughing at HP!

    Hi,

This is similar to Fatal0E's thing about ABS Computer, I took off the heatsink that was on the processor because I wanted to reduce the temperature of the processor (The HP case is tiny and cramped) a bit and when the heatsink was removed I saw the plastic "Remove before use" pad. HP, leaving the "Remove before use" pad on the thermal pad of the heatsink is bad!

I'm always laughing at HP when I see some joker buy one and realize how shoddy it is..... I also laugh when their caps go bad, which is even funnier!

Ohh well, I'm spoiled by my Supermicro X5DAL-TG2, which is immune to the bad caps plague............................opens case just to be sure...

We used to buy HP, but when they bought Compaq and it was reported that HP desktops would be designed in Houston (Compaq) instead of Sunnyvale, we decided to switch. I'll continue this in the "Post Your System" thread.

Power Supplies should be boring: No loud noises, no bright flashes, and no bad smells.
