Need help to identify ELNA capacitors series

I've got a small hand-held LCD TV (TV-100 by Casio)

Someone has left the batteries in too long and they've leaked. Luckily the major damage seems only to the battery springs.

However 3 capacitors have come into contact with the battery acid and aren't looking too good.

They are ELNA and are yellow. They are also small (look 4mm by 8mm or so) and I have no idea what series they are. They are:

    50v 4.7uF ELNA CE85°C 9318 (H)
    6.3v 47uF ELNA CE85°C 9316 (H)
    50v 1uF ELNA CE85°C 9310 (H)

I guessed the series is either H or CE but neither of those show up on the ELNA website (I guess these capacitors are either too old or the series is not marked in the way I am expecting)

I've attached a photo in case it also helps.

93xx is probably date code [1993 and the week]
CE is the sleeve material [I think]
    H is probably the tolerance [+/- 3%]
They are probably not low ESR.

Sometimes when a buyer orders enough or something special they'll do a custom run and they might not get a series marking. +/- 3% is pretty rare so that might be the case here.

Sounds like your date code interpretation is right, The Casio TV-100 was made in 1993.

So I looked for an old version of the website and found this:
      http://web.archive.org/web/199802121...om/ptable2.htm

Looks like these might be "RC2" series: 85°C, small size and yellow sleeve - the description fits the bill anyway.

So they look like just standard capacitors but with small form factor. Can't see anything related to the (H) though.

Maybe they are RC2 series but with better tolerance than usual, as you said, a custom order.

Hmm, interesting. Where did you get this information?

I didn't even catch that he stole pcbonez's text, the post was reported to me as spam, and that's all I looked at. Atleast if he's going to rip off someone's info, he picked a good source.
