Default Panasonic CF-54 MK3 Bios Password

After copying another similar machine BIOS, I was wrong about not booting-simply had forgotten to replace memory. Even though I searched/replaced serial number, the donor BIOS machine serial number showed up. Additionally, the ME Firmware was not present. When I tried to run the batch file to write ME Firmware, it would fail. I fiddled with batch file to bypass checks with no sucess and I also ran update exe from cmd. Maybe with more time, could get this to take but I went back to the PW removed BIOS provided to me by @peste. Same as before:

"Have tried again the L25 BIOS update, same behaviour with stopping at update screen.

These two updates worked:
-Embedded Controller V3.00L13 to V3.00L14
-ME Firmware 11.8.60.3561 to 11.8.82.3838

Also, I notice under Panasonic PC Setting Utility / PC Information Viewer / Setup:
...
BIOS V3.00L17
BIOS Configuration 0014-FFFF-00D5
Sample ID ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ < Do not see this line on similar machine
Embedded Controller V3.00L14
..."

I'd appreciate any suggestions to correct the L25 update issue. Thanks again.

Hello Guys,

i have a Toughbook CF-54 Model No. CF54CY004EG and Serial No. 6ATCa41920..

After a "load setup defaults" in bios, the toughbook surprises me with a bios password, which was not used before. Unfortunately the setup defaults switch my boot devices, so I can boot only via USB Stick. For this reason I can dump bios via freedos programm only. I tried some afudos vesions without success. Flashrom asks for the right Flash-Chip, have no clue how to find this out.

I read this hole thread and the "how to" thead carefully.

My question is:

How can i dump the bios?

Thank you!

Greets. Sebi

I read all the bios stuff ca
