Angry dell e6440 no battery detected

dell e6440 la-9931p rev:1.0 battery not detected already i replace battery
still problem same. pls help thanks in advanced

Battery not detected will be:

1) connector fault

2) connector contacts not soldered

3) ESD diodes clamping the SMBUS circuits - remove PD2 & PD4 and test again. My bet (of a fresh box of Haldiram's motichoor ladoos) are on this fault. Killed 3 days on a macbook (other shops gave up on it) and it was down a tiny tiny SMD ESD dual didoe - needed tweezers to solder it.

Sometimes its a shorted cap or mosfet on discharge circuit.

done pd2 is faulty i remove pd2 now battery detected

Good job. The ESD diode did it's job to suppress a transient event at the battery connector. Do replace it if available.
