![]() Battery not detected will be:
1) connector fault 2) connector contacts not soldered 3) ESD diodes clamping the SMBUS circuits - remove PD2 & PD4 and test again. My bet (of a fresh box of Haldiram's motichoor ladoos) are on this fault. Killed 3 days on a macbook (other shops gave up on it) and it was down a tiny tiny SMD ESD dual didoe - needed tweezers to solder it. See attached. Post your updates. |

![]() Sometimes its a shorted cap or mosfet on discharge circuit.

Good job. The ESD diode did it's job to suppress a transient event at the battery connector. Do replace it if available. |
