    Tantalum capacitor identification in a Sega Megadrive IC BD M5 PAL VA6

    Hello. I've found that my console has a tantalum capacitor that I'd like to replace to complete the recap.

    Looking at other VA6 boards with the same placement of capacitors I've found that C24 is a 100uF 10V, do you think it's a good idea to replace it with a Panasonic FC 100uF 16V? I'd prefer FR but I already bought the FC.

    no, tantalums out-perform electrolytics - besides,they dont dry out.
