Help wanted on a Delta DPS-141CP-1-A power supply.

    Hi guys,

I have a Sharp Le46E820. The complaint was tv works for 5 seconds.

On a Dutch forum I read the tip to replace Q7911, Q7902 and Q7909, in fact:

    SBR20A200CTFP 1X
    K1A378R12PI 1X
    AP6679GI 1X

I started replacing them, but after that my tv worked much shorter, only a few seconds, if it worked. What I see is backlight behind the "buttons" on front of the tv and the "chevron" (one part of the Citroen logo, lets say an upward arrow) flashing.

What I hope for: a circuit description, a good schematic diagram, or some tips how to jumper this power supply. Can it work stand alone? Or does it need feedback from the tv for proper working?

On elektrotanya there is an extremely brief schematic diagram, i will try to post it here, not something I can use. No values or component names filled in. I add it here.

For now I want to gather as much information as possible before I do an attempt.

Hi Ik heb wat info met delta voedingen van Philips. Misschien helpt je dat.
Heb je de originele transistors nog?

Semerchet wants to share his Delta PSU knowledge with me. I send him a PM.

PS I read on a German forum that we should also replace PC 7703, a PC123Y22FZ opto coupler.

SO the repair shopping list is:

      PC 7703 PC123Y22FZ
      D 7902 SBR20A200CTFP
      Q7909 KIA378R12PI
      Q7911 AP6679GI

      Happy repairing!

        Hello Fellows,
you were talking about the German forum:
        http://forum.iwenzo.de/topic.php?t=5...last#last_post

        The answer is quite simple.
Check the Voltage at the KIA:
Out 13V , In 7V, the then replace the KIA,
        KIA378R12PI
        Specs:
        http://www.datasheetcatalog.com/data...IA378R05.shtml
I found it on Ebay, the guy the obove mentioned forum sold them as well.

If at the KIA Out 13V , In 0V, the then replace the Optocuppler derscribed below,
In most cases just replace the Optocuppler:

        PC7703 (C1010), spare part is: PC123Y22FZ
        Specs:
        http://www.datasheetcatalog.com/data.../PC123Y2.shtml

Be shure you identiy the Ande spot correctly, I almost couldnt see it! ;-)

        Service Manuals Sharp:

        Happy repairing :-)

Re: Help wanted on a Delta DPS-141CP-1-A power supply.

Does anyone have the schematic for the Delta DPS-141CP / DPS-219EP A / RUNTKA684WJQZ power supply (used in the Sharp Aquos LC-60LE820UN TV)?

I've had this thing stored away for more than three years now. I took it out in January to try and repair it, both to get it working, and as a learning experience.

Had the 1 slow blink/1 fast blink code. I repaired the faulty LED strips. The unit still wouldn't power up. The PS had 5V standby on the PD connector, but jumping the board to power up resulted in nothing, plus i accidentally shorted Q7901 in the process. I replaced that MOSFET, but it resulted in no change. Now I don't even have 5V standby.

I bought a supposedly "working" PS on ebay, which was behaving no differently than mine. It is bad as well, so i was basically lost my money. I went back to my original PS, and confirmed i'm not getting power to ICs (primary and secondary side), and probing several other places following traces.

There's no service manual for the TV/power unit at ftp://helpedia.com/pub/temp/datasheets/monitors/Sharp/ mentioned above.

I'm tired. A schematic would be nice rather than following traces by eyeball and a crappy 0.3MP microscope camera.
