Nothing wrong with W10 if you know how to use it and not let it use you.

I've found it to not be worth the effort...believe me, I tried.

I have one network that runs a Public WiFi mesh...

Another network runs a Surveillance system with 35 IP/Network cameras for my work...

A third network is just a testing network where I can place new devices and configure them for deployment in the other 2 networks..

EDIT: I should add only one of those networks (the Public WiFi Mesh) has Internet access... The other 2 are strictly Local..
Ask yourself WHY you have this isolation in place. Then, look at your proposed action and see how that relates.

In my case, the isolation provides protection -- the "private" internet is never exposed to "foreign threats". And, no mechanism by which data can leave that domain.

If you bridge those domains with a single host (your three i/f workstation), then there exists the possibility that an adversary can compromise that host from a "public" network and, once there, have a beachhead to attack your "private" network.

The downside of my isolation is a lack of convenience -- I can't sit in my office and do research, download updates, browse the web, etc. But, the short walk (a few steps) to this machine is a minor hassle...
