Try disconnecting the backlights LED connector and see what happen.
Tried that as well. Nothing. Not standby light. Do more troubleshooting as in on the main board or the power board? Any idea how do i short the power supply to turn on the voltages so i can measure them? Theres no PL on on this but theres BL on.

Re: higher standby voltage on a phillips tv power supply

If you look at the schematic in your post #4, you will see that the STANDBY (PS-ON) connector CN4 pin 2 is active low, so if you run the power supply board by itself then you can force on the power supply on by shorting STANDBY pin to Ground.
BL-ON-OFF is active high so to turn on the backlights circuit you need to use 100 Ohms resistor between 3.3V pin and the BL-ON-OFF pin.
It is 2:40AM my time so I am going to bed, good night.

Ok i shorted standby to ground, i have 3.3v, 24v and 12v perfectly. So the board output voltage is good now. Could it be the mainboard?

          OK.
Connect the main board to the power supply board, no power to the TV, then check the resistance between:
          GND and 5V pin
          GND and 12V pin
          GND and 24V pin

When connect the main board to the tv, there's only 3.3v there. The rest all missing.

                  Sorry misread it.

GND and 5V pin - theres no 5v pin there, only 3.3v
GND and 12V pin - keeps climbing till 3 kohms
GND and 24V pin - keeps climbing till 11 kohms

OK, I was looking to see if the 12V and the 24V loads on the main board are loading down the power supply or not.
So now you have to troubleshoot the main board, you will need to locate the schematic of your main board assembly.
I am still wondering why the power supply was squealing and now you do not even have any indicator lights on from the main board with 3.3V Standby present..

Exactly. Because once theres 3.3v supply, the mainboard should be working already to standby mode. But theres no standby LED at all. Afraid something else blew during the 6v

That is possible, but at least it did work for seconds after you fix the 3.3V supply.
Attach good clear pictures of the whole main board so we can see what it has on the board.

What Voltage do you get on the STANDBY (PS-ON) pin on the power supply board when all the boards are connected together?

Since PS-ON is active low, so the 12V/24V should be present right now, IN POST #23 we already verify that when you ground PS-ON when running the power supply board by itself you do get the 12V and 24V.
So are you sure you are not getting 12V and 24V?

Not really sure. The tv came like that. There's no heat though. Now the tv had good picture and sound. Except the buzzing sound from the back light transformer.
