    Philips

My TV has a thin red horizontal line 1-2pixel large all over the screen. It can partially change color while the image goes on. I guess this is the matrix problem. Is there anything i can do about? i mean, if the line is vertical, i can try to resolder contacts of the flex. but horizontal?.. any help is appreciated

mitsukiso;.You could try take out the ribbon cables and gently clean them if that doesn't help it could be capacitors in the power supply that are failing and causing a drop in voltage to that area of the screen,if that will not work could be the Screen that is shot, good luck
