Samsung E Series RANDOMLY CRACKED !

This fuck of a Tv cracked on me after power up, PS60E550 which worst of all was a customers so I had to replace it as I had only just become set up what a total nightmare though. I had just fixed the Ysustain as well and he was about to collect when it went. This is nothing uncommon for the E and D series but Samsung will never admit it but it only takes a google search to find this out.

This happened about 6 months ago btw just got round to uploading it.

Good video reece and fair play too you for replacing it for the customer not many people would of done that.

I treated the prick with care gave is a nice clean, fixed it up made sure nothing could fail by adding heatsinks to things then it cracked on me the snake !

Cheers mate, also yes I had too as well wasnt cracked when this come in but ended up that way. If only I filmed it before I switched it on ffs !

Hi Reeceyburger123 i read your problem with the screen cracking that same thing happend to my friend with his D series, he did scrapped his in the end. i myself has the same model what you did have. my picture has gone all funny all of a sudden the picture is gone patchy and pixelating parts of picture is missing .. it looks like the y sus or x main board is at fault. or maybe its the screen is shot.. any idears ? i try upload pictures.

D series has fucked me over a couple of times now mate, not sure what happens. There must be a direct short happening in the panel during ignition stage of the pixels which is slightly more power, shorts out, goes really hot then pops the glass.

Had one a few months back now, spent ages rebuilding both sustain boards and when powered up big red spot, panel cracked and blew my £30 transistors out again

X sus is faulty mate there.
