You can check the DCV on botn ends of each fuse, should have 5VDC, and the other one should have 12VDC.
I can see 3 Voltage regulator ICs UP3, UP13, UP14 that you can test the DCV of all 3 pins to see what you have.

Thanks I will check them tonight.

The link you had was to a 3637-0782-0150 (6A)

      My board is a 3637-0782-0150 (6C)

      Does that matter?

        Re: Vizio E371VL Fixed!

I am not sure about the 6A and 6C, that may be the revision number.
I would try contacting SJ to see what they say about the problem with your board and see what their suggestion will be.

How do you test these ICs? Test everything to ground? Sorry not familiar with these

Meter to DCV in 20V range, Black probe on the chassis.
Looking at the 3-pin regulator with the big tab on top, left pin = pin 1, middle pin/big tab = pin 2, right pin = pin 3. Report the reading for each pin.

              Re: Vizio E371VL Fixed!

ok. so I tested the fuses and they are ok.

So, Here is what I found.

              UP3

              Pin 1 = 0VDC

              Pin 2 = 0VDC

              Pin 3 = 168 mV

              UP13

              Pin 1 = 0VDC

              Pin 2 = 0VDC

              Pin 3 = 168 mV

              UP14

              Pin 1 = 2VDC

              Pin 2 = 3.3VDC

              Pin 3 = 5.2VDC

I am not really sure where to go from here. I am guess that the readings UP3 and UP13 are not good. If you have any suggestions from here that would be awesome.

                Re: Vizio E371VL Fixed!

You may not have Voltage on UP3, 13 until the rest of the power supplies are turned on.

Is there anything else. i can check? Or is replacing the board the only next option?

budm do you think a faulty eeprom may cause these issues?

Might give it a try because its cheap. Would love some feedback before ordering.

                        Re: Vizio E371VL Fixed!

                        From SJ:
                        IMPORTANT:
These main boards can have multiple failures, in addition to the EEPROM.
If EEPROM replacement does not repair your board, there are likely additional problems.

                        Symptoms EEPROM replacement CAN fix:
                        - Display is frozen on VIZIO logo screen*
                        - TV won't power on with remote/buttons when plugged-in (VIZIO is lit in orange, but won't turn to white)
                        - TV turns on when first plugged-in, but it won't turn back on after 30 minutes of being off
                        - TV shuts off and goes back to standby mode (orange VIZIO lit) after you turn it on

Symptoms EEPROM replacement CAN NOT Fix:
                        - TV turns on but has NO backlight
                        - TV turns on AND backlights are on, but has no video display at all
                        - HDMI issues
                        - Audio issues

Based on the info, it does not sound like you have EEPROM problem.

I have a good PS board with correct voltages and a Vizio371VL 3637-0652-0150 main board. when power is plugged, shows the bottom orange VIZIO emblem, then pushing the power button on the side turns the bottom VIZIO emblem white, at the same time the backlights start flashing. It stays this way until you push the power button again with the input button, release and press the power button again makes it turn off and displays the orange emblem again. Any ideas? Is this a eeprom problem?

I have the same E371VL TV with the same problem you describe: 12v and 5v appears on the power supply. When powered on the visio standby logo goes from amber to white, and I get a limited series of about 8 backlight flashes while hearing a ticking sound from the area of the main board. Shining a flashlight on the display reveals no image. I can turn it off and the Visio emblem returns to amber. Power it up again and the sequence repeats.
