OK I'm not sure to post this question but here it is.
I'm in the process of modifying a Sony KDS50A2000 1080P rear projection TV into an 8' screen projector.
I've removed the screen and mirror.
Hers the problem I'm having.
The lens is set up to produce a 50" picture at about 24".
When I project on my screen I get quite a nice 8' picture at a 4.5' distance.
I need to put the unit behind me a about 8' but then the image is about 12' wide, way to big.
Has anyone done this and if so where can I find a lens to solve this problem?
