Issue: Funai FW55D25F - High Pitched Squeal Upon Power-on.

Solution: Replace C3208 and C3209 on main board. These are surface mounted capacitors. Values unknown so I just used same physical size capacitors from a donor board.

Thanks for asking. I remember a long time ago I encountered a TV with a similar issue; it was a single solitary surface mounted cap that went out on a main board. I wish I could remember the model number but I do remember getting the answer here in the forums. I just got lucky in that I was able to troubleshoot the exact area instead of hunting for it. Hard to believe something so tiny can take out the entire TV.

The whining sound would go away if I disconnected the main board from the power board.
