    Identify missing capacitor on Voodoo2

    Hey all,

I have a 3dfx Voodoo2 graphics card that is missing a small cylindrical SMD capacitor (C65 in the attached photo, circled in red). I'm pretty sure it should be the same as all the other cylindrical capacitors on the card, which read these values on 3 rows: 10 / 16S / 8F8.

Anyone know what these values mean, and what kind of replacement capacitor I should get? The capacitors are about 3.9mm in diameter, and 5.45mm tall.

10uF 16V. If the capacitor was not present, most likely it's not needed. Sometimes parts are included in design but not installed/fitted during production (referred to as 'No stuff' in schematics).

Thanks. In this case I'm fairly certain that the capacitor should be there. The solder pads look like it was torn off, they're not smooth and shiny. I also have a second Voodoo2, and C65 is present on it.

It is the same cap as C60 10µf/16v, just check google images and you will see it.
