    IBM 49P1599 Rev 1.1

This is a stumper or maybe I have done something wrong, this is an IBM motherboard and when I initially fired it up before recapping it, it didn't POST and no beep codes at all.

The bad caps in question were 16V 3300-3900 uf one by the 4pin ATX connector, one by the chipset and 2 directly behind the onboard video port.

I didn't have the exact replacement caps for these so I went down to 10V 1800

Well good news is now I get 1 beep indicating normal post ( but no picture on monitor) Bad news it waits maybe 2 minutes then I get 1 long beep followed by 2 short beeps.

Checked the rest of the caps and they all test fine.

Oh ya boad turns on by itself.

You can's go lower on the voltage if the originals are on the 12 volt rail. Otherwise, you've created a small ticking timebomb. Personally I'd try again with the same capacitance and voltage if possible. Good luck.
