            Hi my name is Phil,
I have been in the industry since 1985 originally repairing and calibrating nuclear density gauges then operating a brown goods repair business.
I live in Brisbane Australia and carry out board level repairs in equipment such as TVs, Ovens, Induction cooktops and Coffee machines. I guess just about anything with electronics.
I have found this forum very helpful and hope that I can add to the wealth of knowledge already here.

              Hi ALL:
I am Fred. New to this site. Anyone had any experience on troubleshooting the power inverter board EADP 57BF A on a 20" Philips monitor? I have several of these PCB that needs to be fixed. These boards all have the +5 and +12 voltage output but it does not have any voltage output to the CCFL lamps. Please let me know if you have any idea of what component(s) that might cause this issue. Thanks in advance.

I' been working on all kinds of electonic devices since being a little kid. I mod everything that can be. Still doing it at 45 cause it really helps with the bills. So having some expert advice and a good knowledge base is something that i can really appreciate. If I can't fix, I at least try to learn how.

Hey there everybody, my name's Ben. I work as a database administrator during the day, and find myself falling ever-more-deeply down the rabbit hole of audio and video electronics in my spare time. I found this site while researching the need to replace the power supply caps on a stereo amplifier, and am amazed at the level of information here.

thank you for your forum and for allowing me to be a member
