    Lg oled55e6p-u.auswljr

    Ok guys...
I got a good one for use
I have a LG OLED55E6P-U TV. I pullin it in i get the standy light. Once i hit the power button, it blinks a few times and the standby light goes out...
I have posted some pics and measurements.
On the power board i get 3.5v- POWER/On after than 0 for the rest of the connector on the power board

ok I did the power supply check using the OLED
        SMPT
THE light bulb remained on....and lit.. so that mean the panel is bad...
something weird... on the power supply i hot 24v to operate the light bulb test....
but i checked P203 for 12 volts and nothing..

On P203 on the power supply board there was no 12VT and that voltage comes from main board
On P202 on the power supply board there was 24 VD

              Test 1 results

              1 and 3 jumpered

                Re: Lg oled55e6p-u.auswljr

                it looks your PWB okay.
when you do the test 2, the jumpered 1 and 3 at test 1 should be remain in place.
bulb test if its remain lit. not always drive us the panel defect. you need now do those test one after and tell
A- no jumper at all. all socket in place and trace the 12 volts and the 24 V on the socket which goes to main boards after you plug it to wall socket.. ( this test to check if MB send signal to turn on ) it may come the 12 / 24 reading for short time.

B- do same test ( A ) .. but now only the LVDS between MB and T-Conn driver boards disconnected .. trace the 12 & 24 Volts and notice the time how long they remain on.

C- PWB socket to MB disconnected ... the 2 jumper as Test 1 & 2 in place. and trace the 24 Volts on T-CON driver. notice any Temperature goes high... and follow the line of 24 on the boards.. if there some where Open area.

D- ( Dirty Test do Only if Test A-B-C ) same result no change )

same as Test 1 and test 2 together with jumpers between Stand by and power-On & Standby and Driver On. ( but the 2 wires which bring the signal from MB of Power On & DRV On should be terminated from the socket or just remark them and cut off at the middle ) you can later solder back

with this Dirty forcing the LG to turn on... give eyes on the screen what you will have..

                  - no 12v or 24 v on the main board

                  Test C

my last post wasn't to track 12 and 24 V on the socket ..... its about the 3.5 V which should the main boards send it to the power supply after plug it in

                              No 3.5 v from CPU...
i wish i had a schematic for main board thats always my weakness for these tv 's.. No schematics

Performed dirty test with jumpers in and power on
and Drv_on wire terminated at MB socket halfway.

Test 1 all voltages the same on P2300 power supply

                                      Test 2
24v on P202 on power supply
Light bulb test.. light was bright and remained on

so do you suggest a new main board
