What voltage should PL703, PL704, and PL705 be showing?

they should be about 1 volt.

Seeing my original readings where 0.9mV for those three should they be right? Or should they be on the higher side around 1.2V? I haven't had time yet to do any new testing with the LCD cable on.

          was it 0.9mV or 0.9V?
if 0.9mV, it is considered as no voltage.

Ah ok, I'm sure it was 0.9mV, I'll have to confirm in a few days when I get some free time :-)

I'm getting 0.0mV across PL703, PL704, PL705 with and without the LCD connected, so I'm not sure how I got the last readings, what should I test next?

PC733, PC734, and PC766 are 25V 100U caps that had around 10V in them each when turned on then over roughly 30secs they rose to 17V each before I powered down, does that sound right?

there is no PL705 and PC766 on this board.
first measure voltage on all pins of PQ700 after turning on.
then, measure voltage on all pins of PU700 if you got time.

What do you mean, PL705 and PC766 are both on page 59, are you useing the schematics I posted in post #9? My schematics don't have PQ700 and PU700.

                      I found them.
yes 17v is normal for that point.
remove the battery from your laptop until you fix it.
now measure voltage on all pins of PU701 after turning on.
                      avoid shorting neighbor pins together.

                          no, remove the main battery.
if you remove the cmos battery, it would be safe too.

The board is out of the casing as the components being tested are on the bottom of the board.

I'm still testing but I get slight fluctuations each time the 7 beeps start

to make sure, measure voltage on all the 3 pins of PQ1.
and read the voltage written on the AC adapter brick.
also measure voltage on PL302 after turning on.
