The connector has 13 pins, so what is the name of the missing that is not on your list?
    It may have EEPROM problem.

Looks like that model may have EEPROM issues. With it unplugged, spray the SOP8 chip beside the main processor with an inverted can of duster to freeze it and then try powering on to confirm it. You shouldn't have baked the board (processor isn't even a BGA) and I've never seen bad caps on an LED TV (yet). There is an eeprom dump for that model on this forum as well if you search.

Can we see the pictures of the whole back side of the TV showing how all the boards are connected? I only see 'ON/OFF' signal pin but I do not see other control pins at all. Does the ON/OFF pin change state when power switch is toggled on and off?

currently its all torn apart, the on off signal does work to the main board. so at least I know that works.. the low voltage to the on off on the power board concerns me.. and the blown area on the back..

replaced the power board, and still dead, the main board comes either tomorrow or tuesday.

I just noticed that I ordered 55120re01m3393lna35-q4 instead of the 55120re01m3393lna5-q4 same TV, will that make a difference? I see theres a TON of different boards that look exactly the same, that use the same power supply.. im guessing its the eprom is the difference? like when the tv turns on it has a different logo like PROSCAN instead of RCA? im new to the TV world, and it seems like a lot of the cheaper TV's all use the same manufacturer for their boards..

This kind of TV will use the same blank circuit board but he board will be stuffed differently to make many PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly), you need to match the PCBA numbers as printed on the barcode sticker.

ok, well the seller wont accept a return, can I buy the proper eprom and try that? theres no other options to replace the whole board except one guy wants 125 bucks for it on eBay..

RCA is pretty much crap, was curious and searched for 20 minutes, could not find any firmware for rca tvs, support seems nonexistent, I wouldn't invest much more than a new eeprom or a very cheap mainboard.

Not sure where you're located. Shopjimmy may sell the programmed eeprom, or eBay even.

well guys, you nailed it.. its was the eprom, changed it for the one on shop jimmy, and boom works like a charm... I replaced the burned resistor and cap on the old power supply that blew out matching the same as the new one, and the old one was bad as well.. so either way for 39 bucks we fixed it... thanks again you guys, you are the best!!!!!
