      Or in less demand.

Or maybe used by apple, their screens cost a lot more I've noticed ($100 for a 13" glossy macbook screen off amazon vs $70 for a 17" Matte HP DV7 screen from a dedicated replacement screen place).

Around here, It's usually around the $100 mark, for a 15" screen. $60 for anything is dirt cheap.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

let me ask you guys what you think. I don't have that much experience with this kind of particular situation

The Original version of this screen is TL A1, is a TL B1 just small revision thats still compatible?

Almost all the 15.6" LED LCDs are compatible. As long as they have the 40 pin (and not the 30 pin) connector in the bottom left side (And there are cable adapters that convert the side of the input).

If you shop around you can get good deals. I picked one up for around $20 because two vertical picel arrays on the far left were defective. Otherwise it works perfectly.

"We have offered them (the Arabs) a sensible way for so many years. But no, they wanted to fight. Fine! We gave them technology, the latest, the kind even Vietnam didn't have. They had double superiority in tanks and aircraft, triple in artillery, and in air defense and anti-tank weapons they had absolute supremacy. And what? Once again they were beaten. Once again they scrammed [sic]. Once again they screamed for us to come save them. Sadat woke me up in the middle of the night twice over the phone, 'Save me!' He demanded to send Soviet troops, and immediately! No! We are not going to fight for them."

Double the bonus if you're looking for Dell D series drives/parts... For cheap (part of a trade) I got all sorts of spare parts off a dead D620 for my D630 (which has one of the few 2010 Quadro NVS135 chips, not affected by bumpgate), including a Sony made DVD DL Burner (better than the existing DL burner brand wise). I also got a complete lid (with the nice high res screen) and a 9 cell battery (in better shape than my existing one no less) out of the deal... Reason I say the drives is because they'll fit in any D series laptop... Heck, the only reason they went to the E series was that they wanted the modular bay to be SATA...

I already tried that once a few years back. Screw holes didn't match up. Waste of money

                      hmm, the back of this

                      http://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-Pavilion-...item20c7b6798b

looks very similar to that screen, resolution, widescreen, 40 pin connector seems the same. I'd like others to weigh in on this
