I am having trouble finding a replacement for this micro-controller that goes on a Nortel M5316 phone. I usually get my parts from Digi-Key or Mouser, but am not having any luck with this part#. I have another phone of the same model that has the same chip, but a different brand (Nuvoton) Any help would be appreciated.

It's likely a custom programed chip, I found one site that had a very similar ic, just google winbond w541e204g

Dynamic Voice and Data has this chip for $30 +. I am trying to find an alternative part# that I can use and hopefully find it cheaper. I have the firmware that I can flash onto the chip.

If you can't find a distributor, contact winbond, They might supply you with some free samples
