    Kenwood Chef A901e

    Hi

I'm trying to restore a Kenwood Chef A901e, the one with the PCB motor controller but I'm struggling a bit with the correct wiring layout. I've replaced all the caps and triac plus the 56 Ohm resistor.

If we look at the pcb from the top with the heatsink/triac to the right:

    Terminal 1: below 150nf cap
Terminal 2: above and to left of 150nf cap
Terminal 3: above and to right of 100nf cap
    Terminal 4: heatsink

    | have wired it up as follows:

Terminal 1: blue from connector block and yellow from motor
Terminal 2: brown from reset button
    Terminal 3: pink from motor
    Terminal 4: blue from motor

I can't work out where the red from the motor should be connected, also some photos of pcb boards show a jumper wire from terminal 2 to 3 but some do not.

Hope you can help and thank you very much for taking the time to look.

hi pborlace, have you got the wiring layout or any service manual? i got the same machine(kenwood chef a901e) and it got an electronic shot during use and one of the 0.15 uF looks burned. i am going to change the capacitance. thanks.
