Hola todas, I try to buy A better camera for my AmScope.

AmScope SW-3T24Z-PB Digital Trinocular Stereo Microscope, WH10x Eyepieces, 20X/40X/80X Magnification, 2X/4X Objective, Black Single-Arm Boom Stand, Includes 2.0x Barlow Lens, 0.3MP Camera with Reduction Lens, and Software and I ordered this AmScope LED-56S 56 LED Microscope Ring Light with Dimmer.

Microscope Camera Upgrade
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lS9NtZ6YmA

Hola todas, First, I do not like this 0.3M USB camera(MU035), basically it is a Webcam, needs hook up a computer. An HDMI output is a must for live no delay movement, and I need video recording, for all that, budget is $10. This Amscope did not pay for itself, so I cut my budget down to $10.

My hope is this (pic5: a 1080p Action Camera with SD recorder) which I paid $36 on Amazon............ .................

HDMI output has nothing to do with output delay, cheap cameras will suffer of poor frame rate at high resolutions, so no 10$ miracle here.

But ..but ...pero..Vato...I look the LCD screen is bueno? yo pensé just necesitar to take out the fisheye lente.

PS: Video Resolution: 1080p 30fps / 720p 60fps ¿Eso es bueno?

lo siento, pero yo need to practice Español : California still leads the list (15.0 million), followed by Texas (10.4 million) and Florida (4.8 million). Together, these three states account for more than half (55%) the Hispanic population. In some areas in El Monte CA, they don't need to speak English all their life. 80% of my customers speak Español. para mí, hablar español es más plata.

1080P in a cheap camera...... MMMmmmm too good to be truth, it might be interpolated image, also keep in mind that it has no video output = no real time video (the tiny screen isn't a realistic option) and if you remove the lense, i think you still need some kind of lense to focus the image.

Default Re: Microscope Camera

All the microscope cams I could find had crappy (fake) specs. They are all 1-2MP usually and slow frame-rate so soldering is almost impossible, it's all jelly.

I worked with Amscope and they were not very good, but low cost. Very narrow depth of field, focus very finicky.
The Andonstar digital microscopes (2MP lipstick, and 3MP with LCD) are popular now. They get good reviews.

My plan is to build Raspberry Pi 3 or Zero microscope. $20 RPi camera module V2 has very good Sony IMX219 sensor 8MP. The rig outputs HDMI. Could work on an Amscope?

eBay has cheap CS-mounts and CS to C-mount adapters. Just waiting for them to come in. So I will take Rpi cam module, add CS-mount bracket and then CS->C adapter then C-mount microscope lens; on eBay 180x glass about $75.
But you need a light ring, brackets, base etc. so it adds up.

You could use old Raspberry Pi 2 or V1 camera 5MP to save money.

PS: I will order Raspberry Pi v2 for study as A security IP camera and as a toy.

Me encantan esos, pero esos necesitan mucho dinero.

The working distance secret is over Peter Barlow's Lens, I try to use lens from junk DLP TV to accomplish this task with my Live HDMI 1080p 30fps / 720p 60fps Action Camera without AMscope.............

I ordered Micro HDMI cable to test this action camera. Will update.

PS: We're gonna have A competition for DIY Soldering Microscope. Who is the winner will shows it can be solder SMD real-time under Microscope on the screen under 1 minute! Que Dios le bendiga a todos.

Decent frame rate
Decent focus range
Does not need a computer

Does not break the bank and going into debit

I have used this for 2 years the soldering distance is good and you can record 1080p videos and take snapshots.

The best part is I have used almost everyday for SMD Parts identification because of light weight, it is convenient to moving around.

Actually it is the same microscope as mine a must have tool in your bench. isn't that a wonderful tool? Because I just used once in a while. within 2 months I'd had never need to charge the battery.

Just got mine today I have to wait until I changes up fully to really try it out
But I have turned it ON and it seems to work very well I magnified the shipping label and it is very clear on the screen

So far I am very surprised at how well it seems to work the real test will be how long and how well it works in the long run

I've got 6 months ago an Andonstar ADSM302. Put that on a 40" TV and now I can see something. Ugh! The prices went waaay up! Gee...
I am very happy with it.
