    Did you find a solution?
I have the SPI EEPROM 7CT3 under suspicion but not sure.
Is there anyone with an dump of this EEPROM for QFU1.2? Would be nice.

    br and thanks

At least you can try to read the SPI in the meantime you freeze it and if you obtain a dump that seems complete, watched with a hex editor then buy a replacement SPI and change/reprogram it.

I read your topic about your problem with your Philips TV.

I have the same problem with my own TV.
I also measured the resistance across the 1V5 and it saw very low impedance 4.5Ω.

        Did you repaired your TV?
Do you have any tips for me?
I do likes the picture on this TV and I really want to keep it.

Thank you very much for your help and time.

        It is Processor failure.
I had the same problem and the current consumption at 1.5 V was 5 amps. The power current was limited to 5 amps. The processor became very hot.

          Hey,
i did not success to repair the TV.
I believe it was the main CPU.
It is very hard to repair that kind of problem.
          wish you luck

I also had this problem not too long ago. Seems like the Fusion CPU gets killed by electromigration and heat.

I bought my TV used in september, and it died on the 1st of december. I heated it. Also, I saw that it had already been heated by someone else before me, because there were flux near the CPU and stratches on the heatsink bottom.
It worked for 2 weeks then died again.

Heated it up again, and cut the back panel of the TV, to put a bigger heatsink with a fan on the CPU.

It's been more than 1 month of it working. I hope it will last a while, I don't plan on buying a new TV anytime soon.
