Laptop ccfl lamb vs monitor ccfl lamb

    As I am a beginner, I have a question.
Comparing laptop ccfl lamb with one pair of wires (red-white) , with pc monitor's ccfl which have two pairs (red-white) , (black-white) wires.
Could I use the laptop ccfl lamb with one pair of wires instead of the monitor lamb which have two pairs.
I'm using the laptop lamb only to prevent the protection circuit form Kick in.
Is the LCD monitor two ccfl pairs are for two lambs ? Or it has two pins for each side, not like the laptop ccfl that has one pin for each side resulting in just two wires not four?

      Thanks for quick reply,
So what is the difference between them , laptop lamb and monitor lamb?
Why the first has just one pair of wires while the latter has two?
What is the role of each pair of the monitor’s ccfl, if the laptop ccfl works fine with just one pair of wires red-white ?

        Thanks for quick reply,
Could I use the laptop 15.6 lamb on the 22inch monitor without a risk.
If YES , could I use the monitor if that situation works, for operation mode not just for testing?
        Many thanks in advance.

it will be overdriven and not last long.

          get an led kit instead.

Most 19-24" LCD monitors have 4 lamps: two at the top and two at the bottom - hence 4 sets of wires.

Meanwhile, laptops usually have only one lamp, and hence only one pair of wires. The color of the wires don't matter. Only that in each set of wires, one is thick and the other is thin. The thick one is the High-Voltage (HV) one and the thin one is usually just return - i.e. close to ground voltage (but not exactly, as it's used for current detection going through the lamps.

For testing only - yes, maybe.
As a long term repair - no. (Lamp will be over-driven as stj mentioned and so it would not last long.)
