    CFI-S969L Bulged Capacitors

I'm turning it into a carputer eventually, in fact I've already set it up pretty much.
Only problem is bad caps, probably caused by the power supply it was on having 2 bulged fuhjyyu capacitors.

All caps on this board are crap!

    Bulged caps:
    1x CHOCON 1000uF 10v (purple)
    2x CHOCON (can't tell specs)(green, by CPU)

I've highlighted on an image on Google Images what's bulged.

Should I replace them all or just the bulgers? And what are the chodecons (lol) by the CPU?
    What is a good series?

And more important, would recapping the 2 BSODs I've gotten?

    Thank you!

Recap ALL of the choke-cons . Use https://www.badcaps.net/store/produc...roducts_id=164 for the 10V 1000uF caps (and you might wanna order a few hundred of them, since HM are soon to be discontinued )

Yes, recapping may very well fix the BSoD problems.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

I was joking. It's just because they may not be available forever.

I use about 10 caps/year. But it's food for thought.

I easily go through a few hundred a year.

Back on topic, though, You're gonna have to remove one of those smaller caps if you can't read the specs with it mounted.
