Element brand TV, decent or dud?

Catching up on Christmas shopping, just curious if Element brand TVs could be expected to last for a few to several years. I seen a 39” model no. ELEFW3916 at Walmart for $200.
Also seen a Insignia 39” model no. NS-39DR510NA17 for $200 also.
It’s for a bedroom so maybe running for a couple hours per day.
    Thank You!

Bo Darville: Sure, ask me what?
Cleedus: What the Hell do we want to go to Texas for and haul beer back here? What is that?
Bo: For the good old American life. For the money, the glory, and the fun. Mostly for the money.

Here in oz I tell people if your TV capital cost is $100/150 per year of life well that is cheap entertainment. After all you may pay $50 to go to a live sporting game one off - how many can you see for free on the TV. Horses for courses!

That’s one way to look at it. The tightassity I have would like it to last longer though. Maybe go with Samsung or Toshiba and drop to 720p to keep the cost down?

            So...
As far as quality goes, who sucks the least?
Visio, Toshiba, Sharp, Samsung or Sanyo?

Also, 720p/1080p doesn't matter much on a small 32” panel, correct?
