i guess this is an hdd Password not bios password

No, this should be the newest suffix and there is no free generator for it yet. I don't think anybody has it yet either.

Dell engineers, without any inspiration!
E7A8 is the same algorithm ... 8FC8 minor modification, does not use the service tag to calculate.

Which kbc it uses?? The password may be stored in kbc.

i dont know wich is the KBC chip. But if the password is in kbc chip there is no solution for it except the generator?

i have a dell with PWD and when i run it : service tag: 3Y0P332..is it what you mean by suffix !!

wher to find the free generator for dell as you mentioned before..thank you

Example:
CP1M7Y2-8FC8

Blue alphanumeric character code- service tag
Red alphanumeric character code - suffix

1234567-595B
1234567-D35B
1234567-2A7B
1234567-1D3B
1234567-1F66
1234567-6FF1
1234567-1F5A
1234567-BF97

Above are examples of different Dell suffix alphanumeric character codes that can be unlocked with generated master password

1234567-8FC8 suffix can't be unlocked with generated master password at the moment.

According to your service tag this is a Dell Inspiron 3542, the system is showing only the service tag because it's equipped with InsydeH20 bios, and this platform can not be unlocked with suffix method master generated password unfortunately.
