Please for help with bios password for 840 G1. I have Dump with password for entry in bios, when can you unlock it. I thank you very much in advance.

Post your bios backup and the password can be revomed from it .

Ok, i`ll post 2 more bios to try. The first bios TRY2.BIN may not even boot but try it first anyway, i tried something new. The second bios NO_DMI ME_CLEAN.BIN has been updated to the latest bios version, it has no DMI info . The missing info serial,uuid,feature byte etc will need to be entered using nbdmifit/wndmifit or hp BCU bios config utility , if the password is gone, EDIT: also try the bios by ala_borbe: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=42393

Just wondering, how do you read/program HP 840 G1? It has a W25Q128FVSQ (Quad I/O, QPI) chip, which seems not to be supported by flashrom.

Tried using flashrom on raspberry using soic8 clips directly on board but no luck.
