      Thanks i will have a read i think the op said he looked in the service menu but a lot was read only so cant alter much hence maybe going to try new firmware would new correct firmware solve the incorrect panel settings?

          So these tcon bds are not tv model specific?
          i.e if its a 6870c-0370a LC320EXN it should work on this tv set regardless of whether it came from another bush or toshiba etc...?

            Edit: Looks like in this case it should come from a similar set. I searched on ebay the part number of your tcon but nothing comes up.
            Ps: I searched using the part number of the manufacturer.

              The T-CON has to match the LCD panel, when TV manufacture buys the LCD panel, the panel comes with the T-CON board, and most of the time also comes with the backlights driver board.
              Some time the TV manufacturers use more than one LCD panel manufacturers for the same model.
              Spec of similar LCD panel SC instead of SD:

              It tells you the power requirement of the T-CON and the LED driver, pin out, etc.

                some more good information thanks budm so maybe best the op gets the correct tcon that matches his panel and hopefully that will sort it, whats your thoughts though on a lot of the service menu items being read only could the wrong tcon cause this too?
