Thanks i tried that but for 32 bit it doesn't install ,also installed from the link below,well i'll see how it goes.

I guess Nvidea 390 is already installed and already had the graffics issue 3 times after that,i guess i have to go back to 16.04.here on the 390 drivers from the link,and after i installed it changed to;

continue using a manual installed driver ,what does this means?

it means your not using the nvidia driver.
xorg.conf is still referencing the neuveau driver.

390 driver is not listed .. is it compatible with your graphics card ?

i dont get why you insist on running 32 bit rather than 64 bit ?
try 64 bit ubuntu as there is the support for it .

Thanks man; forgive my ignorance but you are right it's both 32 and 64 ,thanks if it was not for you i would still believe it was not 64 ,the thing i tried to install ubuntu 64 bit and it was not running right so i installed xubuntu 32 bit and i thought it was not 64 bit,thanks again

Thanks bro; in fact this is 64 and 32 bit ,once i tried to run ubuntu 64 bit and it did not run right so i installed xubuntu 32 bit thinking it was not 64 bit,my ignorance.thanks

cpu runs both yes think they call it backwards compatible .. o/s looks better and works better with 64 .. max out the ram and install 64 . does graphics have own ram ?

Thanks petehall347; well i installed xubuntu 18.04 64 bit all went great except i have same graffics issue,and there is no additional drivers i think that 390 are the default. Well back to 16.04

well it has been working without issues now ,it showed the issue when i installed Google Chrome and tried to use it,now with firefox it has been ok,but i also found out it won't detect USB, i'm fad up with this 18.04 crap, i'm going back to 1604

am surprised .best distro i have had since very early version ..upgrades upon upgrades too . try slimjet for browser . then set it up exactly how you like it .

I also think best distro is xubuntu 16.04 but 18.04 is plain crap period.

Hi guys;new update ;i gave xubuntu 18.04 another shot,since i rarely give up ,it's my nature,either brake it or fix it ,here what i did, i reinstalled the external ATI radion 6450 video card on my athlon ii x2 250 and uninstalled both Firefox and google chrome and installed Chromium from Software and log in in Chromium since it's same as chrome and since then no issues so far ,cross my finger,thanks
