If nichicon is bad for HM/HN, then United Chemi-con is bad for KZE and KZG.

I've only seen one complaint about bad KZE in like the last 5 years.
Why do you keep running with that one?
Have you seen bad KZE?

Yup
KZG have heat issues and will fail with no bloating.
Just search the forum, KZG problems are all over in here.

Are there any bad brands of polymer caps?

Who makes these polymers (BioStar G41V-M7 mobo) with the small "s" inside the large "C", and are they OK?

I just found another crap cap that can be added to the list. The name of this brand is "Lasting". What a play on words. If you try to locate any information on it using a search engine you will be flooded by "long lasting" capacitor stories. Very clever indeed.

So I gather this rule is no longer in effect?
Interesting that teapo and OST is on the list (which some major PSU suppliers use), but fcon is not, which is used by even cheaper PSU manufacturers.
IE antec for the the former, huntkey for the latter.

Hey all where is the list of GOOD caps?

I have 15 "popped" Rubycon 6.3v 1500uF up through 6.3v 2200uF for a Dell 470

May we add JUNZL units to the bad list? I found one bulging in a set-top box.

Rubycon are regarded as one of the best capacitors avaliable, along with Panasonic. Perhaps that Dell 470 has bad ventilation like some of the SFF and USFF Dells.

yup. the 470 is a rebadged easybake. they will cook almost every good brand due to the heat.

you should poly mod it... start a new thread on it, post some cap values there, and we will teach you what to do tho fix that.

btw, mac g5's do that too (hence the poly kit). too hot to handle.
