LG 42LN543V one flash error code?

42LN543V LED standby LED comes up then flashes once then goes out with no screen activity.

All the voltages are up, I'm wondering if it's a main board or a dreaded LED back light problem. Anyone know the one flash error code?

    Thanks, Dave.

Try press and hold down the OK button on the TV panel for 15 seconds or so.

LGs dont have blink codes. Backlight failure very common in LN series.

With the tv off, monitor the voltage on the power supply LED+ (or J14), then turn on the tv. If the voltage peaks over 160vdc, you very likely have an open led string.

Ah, thanks RJ, I think you nailed it, I did just that before posting on here but wasn't quite sure what the peak was, was over 160 for sure, 180ish if I can recall..... I should have known, just didn't 'click' at all - I should have disconnected the plug and then compared.

To do a proper job I wanna be changing the lot of em' so that means a set of strips, trouble with changing one or two of them you don't know when the other's will 'pop', two minutes ,two day's you just can't say.

Thanks to the other posters. Dave
